These are just a couple of websites that give alternative, critical perspectives on the news and political issues.  Over time I hope to work with students to develop this page into a powerful site for challenging mindless political orthodoxy.

Independent Media Center: Indymedia is a collective of independent media organizations and hundreds of journalists offering grassroots, non-corporate coverage. Indymedia is a democratic media outlet for the creation of radical, accurate, and passionate tellings of truth.

Noam Chomsky Archive: Noam Chomsky is one of America's most prominent political dissidents. A renowned professor of linguistics at MIT, he has authored over 30 political books dissecting such issues as U.S. interventionism in the developing world, the political economy of human rights and the propaganda role of corporate media.

Greenpeace: Greenpeace exists because this fragile earth deserves a voice. It needs solutions. It needs change. It needs action.
