the darker the green, the greater the population density
The above map is a little deceptive in one sense. A significant
portion of the African-American population lives in the large cities of
the Northeast and Midwest, such as New York, Chicago, Washington, DC, Philadelphia,
etc. But on this map these large cities only show as single orange
counties.
